THE GATTERNIGHOF
For more than 450 years the Gatternighof is well known in the National Park Hohe Tauern. In the summer of 2006 this original farm (built in 1896) fell into Dutch hands. A long cherished dream of the family Kapteyn. After an intense renovation the Gatternighof sets off for a new future as a simple and yet versatile Guesthouse. The perfect home-base for nature, and adventure loving tourists.
SLEEP TIGHT
The Gatternighof has 18 beds to offer, divided over various two and four persons bedrooms. the rooms are warm and basic. Bed sheets are available, but we advice to bring your own towels. In the house you can find two bathrooms.
When you hire the Gatternighof with your family or group, it means you get the whole house for yourself! There will be no other guests in the house.
LARGE KITCHEN
The self containing accommodation has a very spacious kitchen that can be used for your own cooking. All pots, Pan’s and even a dishwasher are present for your use. If you are not in the mood for cooking you can always go to one of the many restaurants in the village.
