This long-distance trail stretches from the tallest mountain of Austria, the Grossglockner, to the shores of the Adriatic through the exciting landscapes of Carinthia, Slovenia and Italy. It is listed among the top 5 long-distance trails in the world. You can use the Gatternighof as your base for the first ten stages of this famous trail.
