The Gatternighof has three fully equipped bathrooms und two extra toilets including floor heating for
guaranteed warm feet.
The Lärchenstube located on the grounds of the Gatternighof is a popular meeting
place for locals as well as guests. Experience delightful evenings surrounded by a
splendid alpine panorama. On request, the entire Cafe/Bar can be available for your
exclusive use.
The generously sized living room invites you to relax in front of the fireplace. Whether
alone or with company, you are sure to spend a cozy evening.
The kitchen offers everything you need to create a tasty meal and with two large farm
tables there is plenty of room to share.
In addition to lodging, we offer various activities such as hiking and animal watching, as well as seasonal activities such as snow-shoe hiking.
This is who we are. We are Ron and Caroline Kapteyn and for nearly 50 years we have been in love with the Möll valley in Carinthia with its natural setting and with its people.
In 2006 we followed our heart and decided to settle down right here on the Pfaffenberg.
We are very attached to Carinthia’s mountain ranges and its natural setting in general.
To share our fascination for this gorgeous landscape we offer guided hiking tours in the
area and the Alpe Adria trail (43 stages) which passes by our house.
